I know this is kinda late, but I guess it doesn't have to be a special day to say what you are thankful for.
A couple of the things that I am thankful for are most definitely my family.
Starting with my parents, who have been through everything that I've had to deal with.
Then my Grandpa who has been kind enough to let me stay with him at his house. He has tolerated my school schedule, i.e. me running in and out of the house at all hours of the day/night.
And finally my brother and sister, Conrad and Kaethe, who are just there. We have had our fights and arguments, but they are still family and I love them both.
Also to my friends. They are some of the best people that I know, even though we all are very different (i.e. me surrounded by a lot of hispanics, yea you guys know who you are now). But they are people that I can talk with, and work things out.
And now for some of pictures of what else I am thankful for.
My kindergarten class at church.
The kids at The Crayon Box. The 1yr-olds.
Good food. Look at that pie. Apple...mmmmmm!!
Nature. One of my favorite places.
And most definitely....nap time! :) Well, that is when the kids are asleep.
Also, I'm thankful for God, who without Him I would probably have given up a long, long time.

Rushed! Busy! Anxious! Relaxed!
This week has been one of the roughest weeks of the entire school year. Now, I'm not counting the week as starting on Sunday until today, butcounting it as LAST week on Tuesday until day.
Recap:
Tuesday as week ago ~ arrive at class find out we have a paper due on Thursday, which gets postponed to Tuesday (Nov 15, Today).
Wednesday ~ Find out that I have another paper due, that I haven't started on and have no clue what to put down.
Thursday ~ just starting to look at a book to write a paper for another class.
Friday ~ went to work a half hour early (by accident) and then ended up in the wrong room, which makes me late for the room I'm supposed to be in. [side note: did not go to Chicago to the book signing by Christopher Paolini. Bummer!]
Sabbath ~ Had lunch with my family, and was able to go to Acrofest Saturday night. It was very good.
Sunday ~ Spent 4/5 hours working on two papers that were due today (Nov 15).
Monday ~ realized that I have another 10 page paper due in a week.
Tuesday (today) ~ lots of papers to work on and a bunch of homework, with little time to do anything else.
The rest of this week, really until Christmas break will be just as busy.
Now, I am super tired and Thanksgiving break is a week ago. But even then I have a paper to work on over the break. I am just ready for Christmas break when I can actually rest, and only have to worry about work.
Well, as a help to not get very stressed, I have found and enjoy a little clip about blackberries and apples.
Don't forget to enjoy the little things.

Inheritance
For the past number of years, since high school, I have read the books by Christopher Paolini: Eragon, Eldest, Brisinger, and now finally book number four has come out Inheritance!! It came out today, and I now have it in my possession. Needless to say I am pretty excited, but shall try to restrain myself from reading it until I have time over Thanksgiving vacation.
Well, here's to hoping that I don't actually start reading it, and also to hopefully going to Chicago to a book signing that Christopher Paolini is doing there.

Papers
I have always known that writing papers is not the funnest thing in the world, and while I know it must be done, it still takes a long time to get started. At the moment, I have to write a couple papers that are about 8-12 pages, and while to some this may not seem like very long, to me that's crazy. But probably only because I've never done any papers that long.
BUT~ One paper that I am working on is on unemployment and the loss of jobs (job security). I am actually kind of excited about this paper, because it is more doing a whole bunch of research and writing it down (I guess that is what every paper is..hmmmm...). Anyways, I feel like this is going to be a good paper because to do the research for this, I plan on calling and talking to a couple business owners about the difference in immigrants working and Americans working in that specific job. Hopefully it will turn out great, if only I will be able to remember to put everything into that paper that needs to be there (I forgot to do this for the last paper).
This paper, will talk about the immigrants that work in the apple orchards, and how they work harder and better than the Americans that try to work there. It's quite interesting really to see some of the articles that have been published. Hopefully after I write it, it will have a clear view of what the problem is, and possibly a way to solve it, but only time will tell.
Hmmmmm...........fresh apples!! yes!!! :)

At the moment I'm watching the Hallmark, and I personally think it's really early, but they are showing Christmas movies already. I'm not really sure why, I personally think that they should wait until after Thanksgiving, but then I guess they always start to do advertisements a month ahead of the actual holiday. Which I personally think is horrible, because it doesn't give people any time to actually celebrate the current holiday. After the holiday is over, they pack everything up right away, and just like that the holiday is over. Why is that?
Anyways, just a thought.
But what I thought was really interesting (and this is taking it back a couple years), I thought I'd post up this video, just because I thought it was really funny.
Anyways, just a little something fun to watch.
Drink some tea, have a great night.

Fall is one of the best times of the year simply because all the leaves are changing, and the air gets that little nip in it that signals snow is coming. But the main thing that I love is how the trees look, with all their leaves different colors and everything. The other thing that I really love about fall, is that it leads into winter, which is filled with fires (if you have a fire place) and hot chocolate, and great friends and songs of jolly merriment.
This right here is what I am looking forward too. Hot chocolate, huddled in a blanket with snow falling outside. mmmmmm.....yes!!
